New To Japan

Hey you guys I haven't had a lot of time for internet lately. Cody left last Wed. :(
Japan is nice but inconvenient. Not very many people speak English and everything is written in kanji. I think i am the youngest wife here. All the wives here are 30+ and have kids. Kinda sucks i really cant relate to anyone. I have made 2 friends though, one is 52 and the other 31. They are nice and they help me a lot. They have been in Japan a while so they are helping me a just. Besides my illiteracy, Japan is really nice. The Japanese are friendly and helpful. The streets are clean. There is no crime, unless an American gets drunk and does something stupid. Toilets here are very different...Western style toilets have heated seats, built in bidets, and flushing sounds when you need cover up noise. Traditional Japanese toilets are like urinals in the ground, they are in the middle of the stall so there is no leaning against a wall, and you some how squat to avoid peeing on you pants. Every time i need to go some where i take the train, because i am not on my cars insurance yet and driving is crazy around here. The train is fun. :) When you are buying your ticket from the machine, there is this metal trash can thing on the wall, if you press the help button on the screen, a Japanese guy will pop out of the metal thing to help you. Its crazy. Food menus here are in the windows of restaurants. In the window you will see plastic replicas of the food that is served in the restaurant. Vending machines have everything. Vending machines have hot and cold drinks, some have hot food. Everything is pretty here. Like every bridge is decorated and ornate. I found some pictures online to show some of this stuff. I would take pictures myself but i already feel enough like baka na gaikoku jin (stupid foreigner). The seafood here is so good and fresh. The sushi you eat for dinner was swimming in the bay this morning. The Chinese food here is terriable. It is not Americanized Chinese food. The pizza here is awesome. It is very different. They put anything on pizza. My favorite is the Tuna and Mayo pizza, it sounds nasty but it really is good. I hear the Korean BBQ here is awesome too. There are lots of fresh bakeries around. There are 100 Yen stores that sell everything. There are lots of cute coffee houses and a few Starbucks. There are also Wendy's, McDonalds, and Denny's, but the food is very different. My favortie new food is the McDonalds Ichi Sandwich. It is like a fish fillet sandwich but insted of fish in the inside it is whole shrimp with like a tempora batter around it. OMG it is so good. Things are more expensive here. A meal at McDonalds is atleast $7.00. Recently a needed a can of wall paint, it was $12 for a 1/4 gallon. Fruit and beef are very expensive too. Well i found some pictures on the web of some of the things i described. I have to go. Also i got an American phone number that runs of DSL. For those who want it. It has an Alabama area code. Well ttyl.
p.s. I have not found a lobster vending machine, but i would like to. :)
